I’m a worrier by nature.
Ask any of my family or friends and they will concur. I worry that I left the oven on, that my child will get hurt at school, that I said the wrong thing, that my business will fail, and on and on.
It’s endless, but a very smart lady once told me to schedule my worries for a set time every day, and it will help me forget about them for the rest of the day. That strategy actually works, but today, on the day we spring ahead and lose an hour, I took it a step further.
Today, I put my worries into that lost hour. 2am CST-3am Daylight Savings CST was my worry time. Done.
Now, the rest of the day I can have leaf races in the street with my kids, watch some basketball with my family, and enjoy the happiness that spring brings.
A short day without worry is totally worth a lost hour. Enjoy yours! ::S::
